More About Me
D’Arcy Carr is an executive coach drawing on more than 30 years of leadership experience. As a former Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Research, she brings a dynamic background that spans marketing, content and digital strategy, technology, talent development, and operations. She knows how to communicate, collaborate, influence, and deliver results across cultures and time zones, and she has a deep understanding of the characteristics, relationships, and experiences that help people thrive in complex environments.
After a three-decade career in financial services, D’Arcy discovered that coaching is the most rewarding expression of what she loved most about her work—helping people realize their potential by evoking deeper awareness of their goals and translating that insight into strategy and execution. She is known for her warmth and empathy, balanced by a direct, outcome-oriented style that brings clarity of purpose and direction.
Beyond coaching, D’Arcy is devoted to her husband of nearly 25 years and their children. She has lived in Japan and traveled extensively. An avid walker, passionate sailor, and slow but enthusiastic skier, she finds balance and renewal outdoors year-round. She continues to exercise her leadership skills as a volunteer chef and coordinator for a community meal program, and through a governance role with a historic maritime organization, where she oversees hospitality operations and the preservation of landmark properties.
D’Arcy completed Brown University’s Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification (Level 1) and is pursuing accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level.
